Purpose1 was approached by the Ephyra Group
to help revitalize Harrisburg School District’s, John Harris Campus
to promote its new ROAR College & Career Academy
ROAR Academy Mission
To provide educational and career development opportunities
that prepare Harrisburg School District students
with the knowledge and skills needed to be college and career ready.
One of the first noticeable upgrades to the school when first arriving are the large brightly colored signs identifying the different career pathways.
These 8’w X 3’h signs are strapped to the gigantic concrete columns to avoid drilling into the old historic masonry.
New pole banners were also used to add bright color to the school.
Murals were added around the school featuring iconic people along with their notable quotes.
The murals span 25′ in width and display the bright ROAR Academy colors.
Perforated window graphics were applied to the entrance way to help add color as students and faculty enter the school.
Way-finding signs have been placed at ROAR labs and the Cougar Den for identification.
